Our Purpose
We are a multi-denominational group of women who meet each week to share ideas, discuss parenting joys and challenges, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a couple hours of adult fellowship. Our interests are varied and reflected by our program schedule.

We’ve had a varied and exciting schedule over the last couple of years. Here are examples of things we’ve done:

• Book discussion of "The Knitting Sutra: Craft as a Spiritual Practice”
• Discussion based on Joshua Video. Author Joseph Girone
• Discussion of Family Issues generated by current news
• Mission Project: Decorate Cookies for UMW Cookie Walk
• Christmas Party and Cookie Exchange
• Guest Speaker Ellen Lewis, Children and Youth Director,
  presented “Teaching Children to Pray”
• Guest Speaker Jack Harnish, FUMC Senior Pastor,
  presented "From Bethany to Calvary, a journey of Holy Week"
• Guest Speaker, Debbie Houghton, presented "Living in Sweden" during a temporary work assignment
• Guest Speaker Sandy Hultquist presented "plants of the Bible"
• Craft session: Creating girls' hair clip storage
• Craft session: Halloween Candle holder decoupage
• Spring walking trip to Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market.

Join us! We meet on Wednesday mornings during the school year from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Asbury Room downtown at FUMC. Babysitting is available for a small fee.
