 OUTREACH MINISTRY: Coming Up

Outreach is owned by the congregation.  The vision of this key ministry is to discover and engage the unique passion of each person in our church community for a life of service.  To accomplish this, a multifaceted program, with a portfolio of participation opportunities, focused on addressing the brokenness in our community and world has been developed.

There is a need and room for everyone to get involved. Whether by direct service to those in need, or through support and funding or through prayer – you are needed and welcome.

Coming up we need your help with the following projects:

Did you know there is going to be a Harvest Dinner this year? Yes! It will take place Saturday, November 19, 2011 downtown. Kristi Jenkins will need your help and commitment to make it a wonderful event for the whole church. Contact her today (kristirj@med.umich.edu ).

The next Kenya Mission Trip is scheduled for February 16-27, 2012. Read about and register for the trip! The registration deadline is Sunday, September 25. Limited space is available so register early! Questions may be directed to any of the trip leaders: Drew Angotti (drew@fumc-a.org, 662.4536), Kathy Macdonald (kmac@macdgroup.com, 834.2532), Gary McClusky (fumc.kenya@gmail.com, 663.4482), or Jeff Punch (jpunch@umich.edu, 971.6433).
