Community is a significant part of church life. Hospitality ministries provide opportunities for welcoming and fellowship for everyone who enters our church space.
Welcome Center
This center is an information station designed particularly for visitors, located in the West Entrance (entering from the parking lot of the downtown church). Visit the center for building maps and basic information about programs and ministries. To help volunteer at the welcome center, please contact Mary Rumman, 734-439-8613.
Greeters and Ushers
Of vital importance is the task of welcoming guests and regular attendees alike. Greeters and ushers perform this function on an occasional or regular basis. If you would like to be a greeter or usher, please call the church office, 734-662-4536.
Connections
Our fellowship time between services on Sunday in the Social Hall is called Connections. Lots of opportunities to link up with others with a host of ministry offerings await. We call it "mingling with a mission!" If your committee would like to reserve table space at Connections, please email Adele Roy by noon on Wednesday of the previous week.
The way refreshments are offered during Connections is changing effective September 9, 2007. Read more about these changes, how to get involved, and about the new World Peace Cafe.
Here are World Peace Cafe procedures for food & cold drink teams during the regular school year.
