The Messenger is the monthly newsletter of First United Methodist Church. It is sent by bulk mail to all members and regular attendees of First Church. See the May 2008 issue on-line.

Caring & Connected is included in The Messenger.

We publish one combined issue for July/August. Submissions are typically due by the 10th of each month for the following month's edition. Pictures are always welcome. Please help us by limiting your submissions to 300 words or less if possible. Material may be submitted in typed or handwritten form, on floppy disk, or by e-mail to: jschlee@umich.edu.

Once a month you can help collate The Messenger. You’ll hear laughter, have cozy conversations, and get to know people you never really knew before. Volunteer an hour or two, or whatever fits in with your schedule that day. We collate between 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., typically on one of the last Tuesdays or Thursdays of the month. Questions?
