Thank you for supporting the youth program by using Scrip! Scrip works like money -- it does not "cost" you anything, but by buying scrip gift cards from the church to make your purchases, a percentage is given back to us from each store.

You can order your scrip online with ShopWithScrip, a web-based replacement for the paper order form. Download the Getting Started flyer for instructions to sign up. (ShopWithScrip WILL NOT sell your personal information and WILL NOT send you promotional emails).
 
 Using ShopWithScrip DOES and DOES NOT change your scrip ordering:

• It DOES allow you to plan your scrip shopping from home -- you will have all week to make an order instead of thinking quickly on Sunday morning.  Have your order submitted by Saturday and bring your check to church on Sunday.

• It DOES allow you access to many, many more retailers and stores.  You can start thinking about using scrip for vacations as well as using it locally!

• It DOES NOT allow you to pay online for your scrip -- the scrip organization, GLScrip, will not take credit cards for payment as that decreases the amount FUMC Youth earns from sales.

• It DOES NOT change the ordering schedule -- you will still need to bring your check to church to pay for your order and you will still pick up your orders at Connections or Lemonade on the Lawn the following Sunday. 

The paper order form is still available on Sundays -- it is your choice to sign up for ShopWithScrip. However, we strongly encourage you to order online to reduce the paperwork burden on our scrip coordinator!

We also offer a selection of Buy It Now Scrip: gift cards for stores frequently used by our scrip shoppers.

New in Buy It Now this fall -- Meijer gift cards!  We offer the cards in denominations of $25, $50, and $100 and they can be used like cash at both the Meijer store and the Meijer gas station.

Please Note: Kroger grocery stores no longer sell us scrip (as of May 2009). They return a percentage of your sales if you use a registered frequent buyer card. You can obtain a card at your store then follow the procedure to register your information, and link your card to the First United Methodist Church Youth Program.
