CROP Walk 2018
Sunday, September 30, 2018
St. Clare Episcopal Church, Ann Arbor (2309 Packard, Ann Arbor)
Will you walk with us? This is an ecumenical intergenerational community-wide walk that raises awareness and funds to help those who are hungry in our community and around the world. Twenty-five percent of contributions from walkers and their supporters goes directly to support organizations and projects in our community who are helping fight hunger here, and the remaining funds will go to support the emergent hunger relief and long term hunger solutions provided through Church World Service.
The walk will begin and end at St. Clare Episcopal Church and walkers can choose a 1 or 5 mile route through city neighborhoods. On walk day check-in/registration begins at 1 pm and the walk begins with a send-off service at 2 pm. Walkers should bring the funds they’ve raised to the walk and turn them in at check-in.
You can sign up to walk or find walkers to support:
- At the CROP table after 9:30am worship on a September Sunday.

We walk because they walk – people all over the world are walking to get water, to work in fields or collect firewood; and every week hundreds of people in our community are walking to meal sites and pantries to find enough to eat. We will walk in solidarity with them and to make efforts to see that everyone has the nutrition they need to live a healthy and active life. Thank you to all who participate in the CROP Walk as walkers and/or supporters!
