March 24 & 25
Palm Sunday Worship 9:30 & 11:15 am downtown; 5 pm at Green Wood on Saturday

Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week. Read more about the week that begins with the retelling of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.

March 29
Maundy Thursday Worship 7:00 pm

Read more about the Christian celebration of Maundy Thursday. A service of Tenebrae, or “Darkness,” is based on a twelfth-century late night/early morning service and is an extended meditation on the passion of Christ.

March 30
Good Friday

On this day we remember the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of Jesus Christ. Read the Gospel of Mark 15.

We will host midday ecumenical worship with First Baptist, First Congregational, and West Side UMC churches – three half-hour services at 12:00, 12:30, and 1:00 pm. Come for one or stay for all three.

Green Wood:
The story of the events of Good Friday are presented in words and music in three half-hour services beginning at 7:00 pm

March 31 & April 1
Easter 9:30 & 11:15 am downtown on Sunday; 5 pm at Green Wood on Saturday

Through Jesus’ resurrection we celebrate the empty tomb and eternal life on Easter Sunday!
