Monday, Oct. 26, 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Zoom
Disability… is not inherently a “problem” or “risk”. Disabled and chronically ill communities often have deeply embodied skills that allow us to connect and survive, even thrive, in these times (Source: AACIL Website).
The Center for Independent Living (CIL), born out of the struggle for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), is an organization that helps people with disabilities navigate, survive and thrive in a world where disability doesn’t have to be a handicap. Please join us to hear Shannon Clark, LMSW, CWIP, from our own CIL in Ann Arbor share how it supports and advocates for people with disabilities in our local community.
