Glacier Hills is offering free training for caregivers and families who care for someone with dementia. Teepa Snow is an expert in practical approaches to understanding and relating to folks with dementia while maintaining their dignity. Teepa will answer questions, give demos, and present PowerPoint slides — all as if she were in person. These sessions begin in June and will continue monthly through the year. Sessions are 1.5 hours each and can accommodate up to 500 participants. Sessions will include residents, families, community organizations and private citizens who seek to learn more about the disease and how to function within it.
