2024 Annual Giving Commitment

When everything out in the world feels overwhelming, our church offers hope. Hope that together we can make a small difference in the face of the world’s troubles. Hope that grows from the love we offer to each other and our community. Hope that as a church family, we will raise children who will carry goodness out into the world. Hope because we have seen the impact our church has in addressing real needs in our community and world.

That is why we titled this year’s giving campaign “For Such A Time As This.” In challenging times, we need the hope the church offers. We hope you consider an investment in hope – a financial gift to the church for 2024. Our goal for this year’s campaign is that everyone who appreciates the ministries of FUMC will give something.

“There are so many needs in the world…food insecurity, racial inequality, lack of shelter, human rights violations. How do we decide who needs our contribution the most? FUMC allows us to give to a trusted institution, an organization which addresses all those needs and more. It’s like one-stop shopping for the soul.”

– Nancy Quay and Sherry Marcy

“I give because I love my church home which includes our wonderful community – all those connected to our ministries – clergy, staff and the beautiful buildings. I want to contribute to the goodness and love fostered here. It’s as simple as that.”

– Elaine Shaw

“The reason we give is that FUMC is a strong force for good in our community. We enjoy the community we feel being a part of the church and the opportunity to share God’s love in our community with anyone in need.”
