General Conference is the meeting of the worldwide United Methodist Church that happens every four years – or is supposed to.  With the uncertainty around COVID and other issues, General Conference hasn’t been able to meet since the 2019 special session that dealt with how the UMC handles sexuality in its leadership. April 23-May 3, delegates from around the world will gather in Charlotte, NC to discuss how the UMC is changing and growing into the realities of the future. Stay tuned to FUMC announcements for further information and ways to be involved in supporting our delegates and the Michigan Conference.
