Cass Community

Cass Community Social Services (CCSS)

CCSS is a United Methodist-related agency in downtown Detroit that works with the hungry, homeless, seniors, unemployed, “at-risk” youth, the mentally ill, developmentally disabled, persons with HIV/AIDS and Alzheimer’s, and operates two free medical clinics. FUMC and the Wesley Foundation support their good work with volunteers, donations, and sales of their products.

In July of 2013, we were honored to have Rev. Faith Fowler in our pulpit. Her sermon follows.
