In our first fall worship series, “The Vows We Take”, we’re looking at our baptismal/membership vows — the basic instructions for how to be disciples of Christ and living like Jesus in the context of empire. We’ll explore the meaning of each vow, put it into more contemporary language, and apply it to life in our context today.

This week in worship we’ll continue our sermon series on our baptismal vows by exploring what it means to “resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves”. Come join us for this timely topic as it comes after a week of political and gun violence.
