2026 Habitat for Humanity
Making homeownership affordable
This summer, our congregation has continued our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley through the Good News Group, helping make affordable homeownership possible for local families.
Volunteer
Over four build days in May, June and July, dozens of volunteers from our congregation served on construction and lunch crews. Together they installed siding, painted interior walls and doors, assembled a shed, installed kitchen cabinets, completed trim work, cleared landscaping, and provided meals for everyone on site. Volunteers served at both the 2026 Good News Group home and another Habitat home under construction in Ypsilanti.
$10,000 pledge reached
Thank you to everyone who has supported this ministry by volunteering, preparing meals, contributing toward our $10,000 pledge, or keeping the project in your prayers. We look forward to completing our final build day of the year on Sept. 19.
