The Trustees are hosting a silent auction to sell two wonderfully refashioned/shortened pews. Item 1 has a peaked/carved top, formerly located in the choir loft. Item 2 has a squared top, formerly located in the Main Sanctuary. Starting bid for item 1 is $700, for item 2 it is $500. Bids of $50 increments will be accepted.
How to bid: The pews are located just outside of the Sanctuary, across from the church office. We encourage bidding in person, so that you may see the pews. There will be a clip board attached to each pew, where you place your name and bidding amount. Bidding will begin on Sunday, March 22 and run through April 12th.
If you need to call in a bid, Tina has graciously agreed to be our ‘phone in a bid’ telephone connection. Call Tina in the church office at 734-662-4536 to place a phone bid. On April 12th, final bids to be verified by Trustees before award. Special thanks to those Trustees who work with wood, and made this happen. You know who you are, and we offer many thanks to you. If this is a popular fundraiser, we have more pews stored in the attic from Renovation, so more shortened pews can be made!
