Tips

Protect Huron River Water Quality

  • Don’t put anything except water down storm drains, which carry storm water to local waterways. That means no motor oil, detergents, litter, or fertilizers.
  • Keep an eye out for fluid leaks from your car and address any that arise.
  • Pick up after your pet. Pet waste is raw sewage.

Alternative Transport Day

Creation Care is planning an alternative transport day! While we are still working on a date, consider how you can avoid using your car as you travel to and from church and other places you go. Walk, take the bus, bike if you can, and otherwise carpool if possible – we are trying to have as few cars as possible at church that day. Familiarize yourself with bike paths, bus routes, walking routes and more.
