Hometown Help Service Week
Service & connection
The middle school youth spent a week in July serving across the county during “Hometown Help,” a week of service and community connection.
Youth serving
Thirteen youth from our church and seven from West Side UMC worked on projects including caring for local parks, preparing furnishings for families through House N2 Home, supporting Alpha House, assembling furniture at the church, and helping at Hope Clinic.
Fellowship & fun
The week also included opportunities to engage with Ann Arbor and its residents, along with some fun at Rolling Hills Water Park. It was a full and meaningful week of service, fellowship and fun!
