Isaiah's allegory of the vineyard seems to be nothing but disappointment; this didn't grow right, my people aren't listening, it's time to start over. What paths have we started down or projects have we begun that aren't what is needed? Do we need to scrap the whole thing or is there a different direction to take? Isaiah invites us to hear that sometimes a reset is what is necessary so we can focus on what matters most; God's grace is always there for us to begin anew.
