The weekend of June 4th/5th is Lay Worship weekend and Pentecost Sunday. See how the church continues in the hands of its Lay people, a long standing tradition in the United Methodist Church. While our clergy are away at Annual Conference, it seems fitting that the Lay People of First UMC lead worship as we celebrate and acknowledge the events of Pentecost and the birth of the early church.
