This year brings some exciting updates to our kids and youth spaces! We’re creating welcoming, comfortable environments where children, youth and adults can learn, connect and grow together.
Explore their faith
Our youngest friends, birth through age five, are moving upstairs, right next to our K–5 classrooms. This move brings all of our kids, from birth through 12th grade, and our volunteers together on one floor behind locked doors, creating a safer and more connected Sunday morning experience. It also makes pickup easier for families with children in multiple classrooms. The new preschool space will be designed specifically for our youngest learners and the new curriculum we’re launching this year, giving them room to explore their faith, connect with God and build relationships with one another.
Warm & relaxed spaces
Our youth spaces are getting some updates, too! The loft in Calkins Hall will become even more inviting with bean bag chairs, oversized pillows and a futon. Room 204, across from Calkins Hall, is also being transformed into a comfortable lounge for youth and adults to gather, meet and spend time together. Comfy chairs, a futon, couch, rug, lamps, lighting and plants will help create a warm, relaxed space for connection.
