Join us this week for worship as we welcome guest preacher, Jeff Chu! Jeff is a journalist, author, and minister in the Reformed Church of America. Though his writing has appeared in a number of magazines, newspapers, and websites, he is best known in religious circles for his book, Does Jesus Really Love Me: A Gay Christian's Pilgrimage in Search of God in America, and for co-authoring Wholehearted Faith with Rachel Held Evans. While attending Princeton Theological Seminary, he participated in the Farminary Project, “a place where theological education is integrated with small-scale regenerative agriculture to train faith leaders.” His new book, Good Soil: The Education of an Accidental Farmhand is a memoir of his learnings there about life, death, and new life in God’s creation. His sermon title for us is “The Labor of Love”
