In our first fall worship series, “The Vows We Take”, we’re looking at our baptismal/membership vows — the basic instructions for how to be disciples of Christ and living like Jesus in the context of empire. We’ll explore the meaning of each vow, put it into more contemporary language, and apply it to life in our context today.

This week, we complete our sermon series on our Baptismal vows by exploring the vows we make to be faithful church members. We’ll also reaffirm our Baptismal vows during the worship service before celebrating Holy Communion on this World Communion weekend!
